Los Angeles, California, United States Contract

We are currently looking for Marketing Manager to join our team.  The position will focus primarily on trade marketing via events, social media and content marketing to the advertising, publishing and entertainment industries. We are looking for a candidate to work closely with our head of marketing to make a meaningful and measurable brand awareness impact.

This role is a combination of creativity, communication and design for someone passionate about delivering a great brand experience for Ranker and it’s customers. The Ranker Story:

Ranker is a data-driven media company whose unique hook is Editors Create, Users Participate. In April, Ranker had over 140 million US visits - and more minutes spent on site than Complex, Bustle, Refinery29, Mic, and Mashable combined (comScore), with 80 million worldwide unique visitors. Visitor engagement is the center of Ranker, which collects over 12 million monthly votes across thousands of pop culture lists including extremely competitive search terms like “best movies of all time” (which has over 3.4MM votes alone).  In addition to, we also have a treasure trove of psychographic "people who like X also like Y" first party data that can leveraged for the benefit of advertisers, journalists and studios and a SaaS platform for social audience acquisition for publishers. The company is based in LA, has 80 employees, is venture-backed and profitable.
