ROLE

The Digital Sales Planner will develop creative digital plans and proposals that help brands take advantage of what Ranker has to offer and is relevant to their business objectives. The Sales Planner’s ability to strategically uncover campaign objectives by collaborating with our marketing, product, editorial and sales teams will have a major impact on the success sales initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the RFP process by creating strategic proposals in response to client requests
  • Uncover and address client needs while highlighting the value and capabilities of Ranker
  • Create customized presentations, proposals, and pitches by preparing key data points, findings and relevant research
  • Act as liaison and consultant between sales, creative, and operational departments to maximize potential campaigns’ success
  • Interact with clients via in-person meetings, calls, and email as needed
  • Identify site audience/demographics and ideal media mix for advertiser objectives and leverage resources for a competitive advantage
  • Coordinate the on-time delivery of client proposals
  • Work with Marketing Ideation in brainstorming and implementing innovative and creative campaign executions
  • Ensure that media plans include accurate pricing and utilize approved products and available inventory
  • Manage the creation, implementation, execution, and tracking of campaigns, and work with all levels of client and advertising agency decision makers and influencers
  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments on all levels of campaign execution (Marketing, Ad Operations, Content, Video, Social, etc.)
  • Process and manage Insertion Orders utilizing Ranker tools and systems (DFP, LKQD, AppNexus, Rubicon, etc.)

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • MInimum 1 year relevant work experience
  • Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well within an individual and team environment
  • Must have a strong customer focus that conveys responsiveness and competence
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional presentation skills - creation and delivery
  • Demonstrate self-direction and ability to work autonomously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially excel and powerpoint.
  • Organized, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Desire to learn different aspects of digital advertising
  • Branded Content, Influencer, and Sponsorship experience, major plus
